According to a Chinese-language Commercial Times report, it seems that Acer is prepping to compete ASUS’s Eee PC , with their own low-cost laptop. Will they manage to go head-to-head with ASUS ? This is the question we are all wondering. Acer laptops are expected to feature 8 and 9-inch displays and their launch is awaited in late Q1 or early Q2. Currently we don’t know anything about the pricing but , to compete directly with the Eee the price should be somewhere around 200-250$. Let’s wait and see what the future has in stores.
