Samsung with a new smart phone

April 25, 2007

Samsung SGH-i400Samsung has announced later today that it will launch, in the month julie, a new smart phone, SGH-i400. The phone will use a Symbian operating system, together with the S60 interface from Nokia. This model continues the legacy, past down by SGH-i520, which was a big hit if we consider the fact that there were over 80 million mobiles with Symbian OS running on them.

Many details on the specs of this phone haven’t currently been released, but who cares about this phone can do when it looks as stunning as this: smooth curves, shiny silver case and a design that will make that phone weightless in your pocket.

This is tri-band phone GSM/GPRS/EDGE, with an impressive 2,3 inch display, at a 240×320 pixel resolution. It’s camera isn’t very impressive, but with a 2 mega pixel resolution its more then enough for the common user. We also know that has Bluetooth 2.0 support, 2 speakers and a microSD slot. It’s dimensions are 10×5x1.6 cm and weighs 96 grams. The Samsung SGH-i400 will be first available in Russia, and soon be available for the European market soon.
