Samsung G810 slider is now available

Well, we’re not so sure that the phone from this image is the HSDPA-equipped Samsung G810 but it defenetly look a lot sexier than the one of Samsung’s G810 last week. Just about everyone thinks that Samsung is making its striking do-it-all slider official at Mobile Word Congress. We’re talking about a HSDPA-equipped phone that packs a 5-megapixel camera with face detection, Wide Dynamic Range (WDR) and image stabilization. It also features a 2.6-inch QVGA display, built-in GPS / WiFi, a 3.5-milimeter headphone jack and a 12.9-milimeter-thick frame. We’ll be expecting the launch of this model in March 2008 (in Europe) and the price seems to be somewhere around ?580 ($840).

Recently Samsung had announced the launch of their new “Soul” cellphone which is build in the spirit of its Ultra Editions. So, we’re looking at a phone that features quad-band GSM phone with 7.2 Mbps HSDPA, 2.2-inch QVGA display, 5 megapixel, image stabilized camera with Power LED flash and face detecton, FM radio, microSD, Bluetooth and at only 12.9 thick. Isn’t that sweet enough for you? Samsung even added a jumbled-up Google icon for search and gMail access. What more do we need? If you are looking to buy it, you have to know that the phone will hit Europe in April and you can see it next week at Barcelona’s Mobile Word Congress.

Samsung’s first 8 megapixel CMOS sensor

Samsung has developed the world’s first 8-megapixel CMOS camera module for cell phones. It measures 10.5 X 11.5 X 9.4 mm, which is similar to 3.2 mpx cameras currently used in mobile phones. The phone will be available next summer after the guys from Samsung will go into mass production during the first half of 2008.

Samsung had launched the G800 model, the first phone with 5 MP and 3X optical zoom camera. Among its optical zoom, the camera of this model can also be proud with the Xenon blitz, digital image stabilizator , red-eye removal system and a face detector system.
The 3G slider with 2.4 inch TFT display can be found in some shops from Europe starting next month. The price of this model isn’t known for now , but we can expect at a high one (or maybe not).

Samsung couldn?t keep the secret of the misterious handset for too long, with official specs leaked by way of the Bluetooth Special Interest Group. The Samsung SGH-i780, a Windows Mobile 6 Professional handset that features several upgrades over the lagging Blackjack that it is surely destined to replace. The phone also features a 2.55″ 320 x 320 pixel touchscreen, UMTS/HSDPA connectivity, Bluetooth 2.0, Wi-Fi, and GPS, a 3.2 megapixel camera, front facing VGA shooter, and a microSD card slot. The European launch of this product is expected in the very near future, and hopefully a Blackjack 2 launch on AT&T before the end of the year.
