MemUp unveils a new PMP line

Not exactly a new line as the outfits of the latest bundle of media players are all rips of other units. The first one is the K-SLIM, a simplistic DAP that features a 1.8-inch display, an FM tuner, a microphone, a self-12h and compatibility audio / photo / video. It will be available in 2GB and 4GB. The second one, K-TOUCH packs a 2-inch touchscreen sensitive pad FingerSlide, a thickness of 7.3 mm, an anodized aluminum housing bimatiere / ABS glossy, card readers MicroSD , A microphone, an FM tuner and a compatible audio / photo / video.The third one, the V-TOUCH boasts a 2.4-inch panel, while the M430 TR PMP arrives with 4.3-inches of screen.

Targus’s NXT-based Portable Speaker Book unveiled

There are a few sophisticated portable speakers out there, but Targus keeps it simple with its upcoming Portable Speaker Book. The device features a 3.5 mm audio input, which means you can connect it to an iPod or a notebook. Powered by four AAA batteries for use anywhere, the device uses NXT’s Balanced Radiator (BR) technology to boost sound dispersion and frequency response.

The Targus Portable Speaker Book will hit the market this summer, but we have no idea on how much this will cost. I bet it isn’t so expensive.

Soundstream’s X-ITE MP28 touchscreen player

Soundstream launched its new X-ITE MP28, a codec-happy touchscreen player. It sports a 2.8-inch touchscreen, FM radio, voice recording, a miniSD slot and it supports MP3, WMA, ASF, WAV, FLAC, OGG, and APE for audio playback, and MP4, DIVX, XVIDV, AVI, and MTV for video. The player is available in 2GB and 4GB capacities, and this player could be seen in USA as earlier as you’ve ever expected (Soundstream is based in the USA). No word regarding its price.

Well, Panasonic’s SV-SD870N isn’t the longest lasting DAP out there, if that’s what you’ve thaught! This model can be found in red, silver, blue and white motifs and packs a a 2GB SD card, boast USB 2.0 connectivity and supports AAC, WMA and MP3 file formats. Even if it isn’t the long lasting DAP we’ve ever seen, the SV-SD870N promises to cut out “83-percent” of surrounding noise just by pressing a button. Oh, this one also supports SD/SDHC cards and it features the ability to record if plugged into a D-dock device. The device will be available next month!

The 32GB Zen player is now available

Creative has just increased the capacity for its Zen player, which makes it a decent rival to the iPod Touch without the touchscreen. The 32GB Zen player is available for shipping across Europe for ?249.99 and it features a 2.5″ 16.7 million colour display, ability to play a wide range of file types and expanding SD card slot. It is also available in smaller capacity versions : 2GB, 4GB, 8GB and 16GB.

Polaroid presents 60GB Freescape 4360 WiFi-enabled PMP

Do you remember the Freescape digital media ecosystem that Polaroid had announced in January? Well, the Freescape 4360 (also known as the MPU-043315B) was quietly launched on the firm’s own website. It’s Wi-Fi-enabled PMP which features a 60GB hard drive, a rechargeable Li-ion good for 16 hours of audio playback (just 4 hours with video), a 4.3-inch 480 x 272 resolution LCD, an FM tuner, TV output and support for MPEG4, WMA, WMV, MP3 and JPEG formats. No word regarding a price or release date but i think it won’t be too long until we’re gonna find out more about this interesting PMP.

MPIO announced the new V10 player

MPIO V10 player

It seems that MPIO realised that their PMPs aren’t too interesting and they aren’t turning heads and to solve this issue, they launched the V10 player. The company’s latest PMP features a 3-inch WQVGA touch screen display and some decent specs such as : 8GB expandable internal memory, an FM tuner, TV output and it can support just about every audio and video format. Oh, did i mention that it runs on Windows CE 5.0? Well, it is! There is no word on pricing or availability for now.

Technaxx TouchMe, just another copied PMP

Maybe you’re wondering who is Technaxx, but you’re not the only one to ask that. We haven’t heard too much about them eighter but we couldn’t notice that their latest PMP looks similar to other PMPs. Anyway, those who are interested in this product can find a 2.8-inch 320 x 240 resolution display, MPEG4, AVi, MP3, WMA, JPG support and BMP file formats. TouchMe PMP will be available in seven different colors : orange, blue, black, silver, pink, red and light-green and comes bundled with earphones, a power supply, software, and user manual. There’s no word regarding the price of this PMP.

DLO Portable Speakers for iPhone

Digital Lifestyle Outfitters presented their new Portable Speakers for iPhone. The system seems to be shielded from TDMA interference, and you can connect it to the iPhone via a handset headphone jack. Oh, i forgot to mention that it’s compatible with a lot of alternate audio sources which includes every model of iPod too. The compact speaker system also features a rotating, removable stand, and is has the ability to act as a speaker phone when a connected iPhone receives a call. They are powered with AAA batteries or by an AC adapter that it’s included in the package. The DLO Portable Speakers for iPhone are available now and sell for $50.

Pandora Digital’s latest jersey-styled PMP

This jersey-styled PMP isn’t the first gizmo to incorporate some aspect of the NBA into its design, but Pandora’s latest release really goes beyond the logos. The SK-522 features a 2-inch color display, FM tuner, SD / MMC expansion slot, a rechargeable Li-ion, integrated speaker, a voice recorder and support for MP3, WMA, IMV, JPG and BMP file formats. We don’t know the price of this gizmo yet so you’ll have to give them a call to find ou how much coin you’ll be paying to take one home.
