Sony rolls out a new home theatre system

We already knew that this one will become official in Europe, but now things are clear. The 2.1 Bravia Dav-F200 home theater system packs S-Master digital amplification (it can deliver up to 135-watts of power to each speaker). It also features an integrated DVD player that can support Mp3/ photo/ DivX discs and the unit also includes 1080p upscaling over HDMI along with a built-in USB port that gives you the possibility to listen to WMA / AAC files. Unfortunately, there is no word regarding its price nor US availability.

Lights.music.beauty is a speaker concept by designer Ian Murchinson and it’s made for those who are more interested by the shape, instead of the audio quality. It is composed of two mounted bars and a remote. The first bar features 4 tweeters with 2 on each side flanking your computer and on the second one there is a 3-point light system which can be place anywhere you want. The Ian Murchinson’s creation goal is to combine the music and the lights to create a relaxing ambiance.

Microsoft and Siemens VDO, together for in-car entertainment

Siemens VDO and Microsoft announced a deal to co-develop in-car entertainment systems and navigation products. It seems that the companies will first develop a multi-media platform to more easily integrate mobile phones and music players into automotive systems. The first products based on the Microsoft Auto Platform are expected in 2009.

LG is preparing to launch a 160 Wats audio system.The FA162 has a touchscreen that when it is turned on becomes a bright red.The system has a XTS technology that controles and stabilizes the frequency.The device also comes with an USB slot through wich MP3 players can be connected.The frequency tone can be adjusted in 6 steps,and it can play different formats like: WMA, MP3, CD-R/RW.

The headset is very easy to install, connectivity being made via USB port. The price tag is around 80 $, providing a great addition to the gaming hardware scene.
